Pricing Groups

Pricing Groups enable your institution to manage interest rates across multiple accounts more efficiently. Rather than updating rates for each account individually (or en masse), you can organize accounts into groups and, in a single update, apply rate changes to each account within a group. This functionality eliminates manual account-by-account rate updates, while ensuring you can maintain a targeted rate strategy through a solution that scales with your account volume.

Please see below for specific instructions on how to create, manage, and edit Pricing Groups:

Creating a Pricing Group:

Creating pricing groups is a straightforward process that will enable seamless rate management across multiple accounts:

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups and click the "Add Pricing Group" button
2. Provide a Group Name that clearly identifies the rate structure (e.g., "Retail Checking," "Nonprofit MMDA")
3. Optionally, add a Group Description to provide additional context for your team
4. Optionally, select the accounts you'd like to assign to the group - accounts can also be added at any time after creation
5. Configure the group's rate structure - a fixed rate, a floating rate, or balance tiers (each tier can be fixed or floating

Note: The group's rate structure will be applied to all accounts you add. If a selected account is already assigned to a different Pricing Group, it will be reassigned to the new group.

Add an Existing Account to a Pricing Group:
The Pricing Group's rate structure will be immediately applied to all accounts added to a Pricing Group. Any changes made to the Pricing Group will automatically impact all accounts in the group.

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups to view all of your existing Pricing Groups
2. On the row of the Pricing Group you wish to add accounts to, select the "Add Accounts" action
3. Select each of the accounts that you wish to add to the Pricing Group and press Submit

Remove an Account from a Pricing Group:

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups to view all of your existing Pricing Groups
2. On the row of the Pricing Group in question, select the "Remove Accounts" action
3. Select each of the accounts that you wish to remove from the Pricing Group and press Submit

Note: Accounts removed from a Pricing Group retain their current rates, but will no longer be impacted by future changes to the group. Their rates will need to be managed individually, or the accounts can be added to another Pricing Group.

Add a New Account to a Pricing Group:
New accounts can be assigned to a Pricing Group during the account opening flow.

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Manage Program → Add Single Account
2. Fill out the account details as you would normally
3. In the rate section, select Pricing Group
4. From the dropdown, select the Pricing Group you would like to add the new account to
5. Complete and submit the rest of the form

Note: A Pricing Group must be created for this option to become available.

Edit the Rate of a Pricing Group:
Managing the rate structure of a Pricing Group provides a streamlined way to manage rates across multiple accounts.

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups to view all of your existing Pricing Groups
2. On the row of the Pricing Group you wish to edit, select the "Edit Rates" action
3. Adjust the rate structure, which will automatically be applied to every account in the group

Edit Name & Description of a Pricing Group
Edit the names and descriptions of groups to ensure they remain accurate and distinct for easy team management.

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups to view all of your existing Pricing Groups
2. Click into the name or description of any group to directly edit either field. Note that duplicate Group Names will result in an error.

Delete Pricing Groups
Once every account has been removed from a Pricing Group, you can delete it to maintain a clean and simple dashboard.

1. Navigate to Sweep Program → Pricing Groups to view all of your existing Pricing Groups
2. On the row of the Pricing Group you wish to delete, select the "Delete Group" action and confirm

Note: A Pricing Group cannot be deleted while any accounts are still assigned to it - remove all accounts first.
