Institution Settings

The Settings section of the Admin Portal enables financial institutions to manage key administrative details and maintain up-to-date operational contacts. To access Settings, log into your Admin Portal and click "Settings" near the bottom of the left-hand menu. Within this section, you'll find tools to upload your institution's logo, customize your monthly depositor account statements, manage all portal users and wire contacts, subscribe to product changelog updates, and configure your Institution Cost Center and GL Code Mapping.

Institution Settings
At the top of the page, the Institution Settings panel displays your institution's high-level details - Name, Federal ID, and State - for quick reference. These fields are read-only; if changes need to be made to any of these details, please contact your NBID team.

Wire Contacts
Individuals at your institution responsible for handling money movement correspondence can be managed in the Wire Contacts tab of the User Management section, including which contacts receive daily wire transaction emails and monthly statement emails.

User Management
The User Management section gives institution admins a centralized place to manage all Admin Portal and Depositor Portal users, including inviting new users, managing pending invitations, and resetting passwords. For a full walkthrough, see Managing Users in the Admin Portal.

Institution Cost Center & GL Code Mapping
Banks can set an Institution Cost Center ID, which will be applied to institution-level GL entries - including one-way sourced deposits and accruals, as well as institution-level offset accounts. The GL Code Mapping panel lets your team map network activity to your institution's own general ledger account numbers. For more information on general ledger reporting, see General Ledger Entries.
