Withdrawing Funds
Clients can request a withdrawal from their Insured Sweep Account at any time, directly through the Depositor Portal. To initiate a withdrawal, the depositor clicks the "Manage Accounts" button at the top right of the portal and selects "Initiate Transfer". They'll be prompted to select the specific account and enter the withdrawal amount - the portal displays their current balance, and the amount cannot exceed it. After clicking "Continue", they review a summary of the transfer (account title, transaction type, and amount) and click "Submit" to confirm. This initiates the withdrawal process to transfer the requested funds back to their account at your bank. The withdrawal appears immediately in the portal's Transactions tab, where the depositor can track its status from Pending to Posted.
The accompanying video provides a step-by-step visual walkthrough of this process, showing how to access the withdrawal flow, input the necessary details, and confirm the request. It's designed to help your team confidently guide clients through withdrawing funds from the Depositor Portal.
Funds move between the network and your bank once per day. If the withdrawal is initiated before 2:00pm ET, your client will have access to those funds same-day. Transactions initiated after 2:00pm ET will be available at your bank on the next business day.
Your bank continues to own the client relationship, and all cash withdrawals must flow through your bank. Your clients do not interact directly with other banks in the network. Note that initiating withdrawals requires Full Access - Read-Only portal users can view their account but cannot transact.
